This show's lagniappe:
Makes 1 drink
1 1/4 oz whiskey
1 oz Italian vermouth
2 drops Angostura bitters
2 dashes orange bitters
1 oz champagne or sparkling wine, chilled
1 stemmed maraschino cherry
Place the whiskey, vermouth, and bitters in a mixing glass. Fill two-thirds with ice and then stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Add the cherry and then float the champagne on top.
